Shara Sokol, founder and principal of S2 creative communications
These days, I call myself a communications strategist with proven copywriting skills because I help clients first target, and then interest - and inspire - audiences to talk to them, and about them.

Getting audiences to act by ensuring that they understand the benefits they stand to gain (answering the eternal “what’s in it for me” question) is my passion. I do it all for clients with crisp, compelling and persuasive writing (also known as copywriting), and editing, informed by a strategic orientation (MBA in marketing), plus a sense of humor - and a love for making things happen.
I also call myself an “audience evangelist” because I love discovering what makes any particular group of employees, readers, buyers, or stakeholders, tick. My experience is wide-ranging: from entertainment publicist to non-profit marketing manager, podcaster and video scriptwriter to corporate communicator and intranet expert.
